Alumni Hall
Alumni Hall is Miller Ward Alumni House's premier event space, offering a spacious and elegant setting for weddings, receptions, banquets, meetings, and special events. With built-in audiovisual capabilities and flexible room layouts, it is designed to accommodate a wide variety of gatherings. Alumni Hall requires a minimum reservation of 15 guests.
When you reserve Alumni Hall, you also receive exclusive access to all adjacent spaces on the main floor, including Walt Davis, Dooley's Den, Oxford Porch, and the Sam Guy Dining Room.

Walt Davis
Walt Davis is a warm and inviting lounge located adjacent to Alumni Hall, making it the perfect space for cocktail hours, networking receptions, guest check-in, or relaxed social gatherings. Its comfortable seating, modern design, and seamless connection to the main event space create an ideal setting for guests to mingle before or during your event.

Dooley's Den
Named after Dooley, the legendary Spirit of Emory, Dooley's Den combines campus tradition with a flexible event space. Frequently used as a cocktail lounge, bar, or buffet area, the room can be customized to complement any event. Whether serving as a gathering space or part of a larger celebration in Alumni Hall, Dooley's Den offers a welcoming atmosphere with a rich connection to Emory's history.

Sam Guy Dining
The Sam Guy dining room is situated next to Dooley’s Den and is named after J. Sam Guy, who started the chemistry department at Emory. Guy is remembered for his dedication to the department’s student-focused atmosphere, a spirit that continues to be its trademark. The dining room holds 12 people for seated dinners or meetings requiring a table Organizations have access to the Sam Guy Dining Room when reserving Governors’ Hall at no extra cost, but they cannot have exclusive access to the room.
J. Sam Guy served 35 years in Emory’s Department of Chemistry as a professor and chairman. He helped create the student-focused environment that remains a hallmark of the department.

Oxford Porch
The Oxford Porch offers a charming outdoor setting overlooking the beautiful Miller Ward grounds. Perfect for cocktail hours, wedding ceremonies, networking receptions, or simply providing guests with fresh air during an event, this versatile space adds a welcoming outdoor element to any gathering. Whether used on its own or as part of an Alumni Hall reservation, the Oxford Porch creates a relaxed and memorable atmosphere.
Clegg Suite
The Clegg Suite is a versatile second-floor meeting space ideal for seminars, presentations, workshops, training sessions, and breakout meetings. Featuring built-in audiovisual technology, including a projector and screen, the room provides a professional setting with flexible seating arrangements to accommodate a variety of event needs. The suite can host up to 40 guests in a lecture style setup or 24 guests in a classroom or boardroom configuration, making it an excellent choice for both collaborative and presentation-style events.
Named in honor of Lewis Lamar "Luke" Clegg, the longtime Director of Admissions at Emory, the suite celebrates his more than 40 years of dedicated service to the university. Widely admired for his generosity and commitment to students, Clegg helped countless members of the Emory community begin their academic and professional journeys, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire generations of Emory students.
Prentice Miller Room
The Prentice Miller Room is an elegant boardroom designed for executive meetings, presentations, working lunches, and small group discussions. Featuring a large conference table, comfortable leather chairs, and state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, the room provides a professional setting for productive gatherings. The Prentice Miller Room comfortably seats 18 guests around the conference table.
Named in honor of H. Prentice Miller, Emory's first Dean of Alumni, the room celebrates his lasting impact on the university and its alumni community. An admired educator, mentor, and administrator, Miller dedicated more than two decades to serving Emory, and his original desk remains in the room as a tribute to his enduring legacy.
Schley Library
The newly remodeled Schley Family Library offers an intimate and sophisticated setting for executive meetings, small group discussions, and focused work sessions. Blending Emory's rich history with modern technology, the library comfortably seats 9 guests around its conference table and is equipped with a large LED display, conference call capabilities, and laptop integration. Surrounded by historic Emory yearbooks and works by alumni authors, the space provides a unique atmosphere that is both professional and inspiring.
Named in honor of the Schley family, whose three generations have been deeply connected to Emory, the library celebrates the university's enduring legacy of scholarship and service. The Schley Family Library serves as both a functional meeting space and a tribute to Emory's history, making it one of the most distinctive rooms within Miller-Ward Alumni House.
